Saturday morning skills n' drills

A 60 MINUTE BASKETBALL ORIENTATED WORKOUT.

This is an opportunity for both men and women to get involved in basketball and we invite participants of any skill or fitness level to come along and have a go.

We add some music to the mix as we take you on a basketball journey through the fundamentals of our sport.

You need not know everything or even anything about basketball, just bring your eagerness to learn and your friendly attitude and you will fit in just fine.

Our programmes are designed to develop sport-specific skills, improve fitness, flexibility, enhance your communication, and of course have loads of fun!

  5. Week - Workout circuit (all areas)
  6. Week - Shooting
  7. Week - Defense
  8. Week - Spacing & Getting open
  9. Week - Early Transition
  10. Week - Moving without the ball
  11. Week - Attacking & Individual Offense

Finish every session with game time!

** You can join at any time, you do not need to wait to start on week 1. We are teaching a theme each week so all classes align to a common outcome. Obviously the more you come the more you will put the different pieces of the puzzle together!

If you have been playing for a while, please come with an open mind and eagerness to learn something new.. If you are new to the sport, please do the same.

Come casually or Discounts are available to members who purchase several games at once.

On the day : meet on the basketball courts around 10 minutes before the class starts.

What to wear : Comfortable training gear and sport shoes. Matching outfits are highly recommended and prizes are known to be awarded for this.

What to bring : A bottle of water (there's a water cooler to refill your bottle by the court). There's showering facilities and change rooms for you to use free of charge at the venue so bring a towel! Bring your own basketball!, we only have a few to go around!
